The gastronomic restaurant “Les Trois Dômes” offers the most beautiful views of Lyon and the Rhône. For a romantic evening or a business lunch, Alain DESVILLES offers a menu full of flavours, where food and wine are in perfect harmony. Our sommelier suggests a glass of wine for each dish.

The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from noon to 1.45 p.m. and from 7.30 p.m. to 9.45 p.m.

Alain DESVILLES – Head Chef

Alain Desvilles started his culinary career in 1970 as a cook in the Prince de Galles hotel in Paris. After spending two years in the capital, he returned to his native Normandy, in Trouville sur Mer.

He went on to complete his training at L’Hostellerie in Pérouges, in Ain.

In September 1974, Alain moved permanently to the Sofitel hotel: he occupied various posts before becoming Head Chef.

In 2001, he met Alain Senderens (3 Michelin stars), who went on to become the culinary advisor for “Les Trois Dômes” gastronomic restaurant.

As a result of this rich collaboration, the Red Guide awarded the restaurant its first star in March 2004.

Franck NICOLAS : Restaurant director

Franck NICOLAS spent five years at the Royal Hôtel d'Evian, one of the most beautiful luxury hotels under the management of Monsieur Langeron, friend of Monsieur Obeuf, former Hotel Manager at Sofitel Lyon Bellecour.

After working at La Toque Royale and the Café Royal, he joined Sofitel Lyon Bellecour, where he started as a maître d'hôtel and then was banquet manager for ten years. With his rich and solid experience, he was then named Restaurant Manager.

Mickaël PIANTONI : Head Wine Steward

As for wine, you can trust the advice of our new chief sommelier Mickaël Piantoni. After two years at the Vineyard at Stockross in England, he joined our team at the end of 2009.

Mickaël is now working on enriching our cellar. Half of the menu (350 to 400 listings) is dedicated to Burgundy and the Rhône Valley.
